As we prepare the next Newsletter, and plan all the Demos, Classes, and Events that we will be holding here at the store, through the end of October, I want to give you a sneak peek:
FREE (Two Part) ENCAUSTICS Demo:
Saturday August 14th, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Kristin Richland: Will demonstrate the basic techniques of how to work with Encaustic Paints, including Collage and mixed Media.
(after a 30 minute break), from: 12:30 p.m. -1:30 p.m. Theresa Somerset: Will show the use of Encaustic resist with Watercolor, keeping the colored wax as part of the artwork, on various substrates, including eggs! |
